Busting Season is Here!

Spring is here, and it's about time we get this show back on the road.

Ecto-Overhauling:
Both the Ecto-4 and Ecto-MCU saw a lot of miles in 2010. This winter, although a difficult one due to the weather, has been fruitful in designing and updating both Ecto's.

-The Ecto MCU is soon to be equipped with a new Mobile Containment Unit, to be debuted at the Ocean City Doo Dah Day parade.

-The Ecto-4 has undergone a lot of work, including new vinyl, custom hub caps, window tint, a rear bumper guard, and a rewiring for a special rear facing surprise. These updates will also make their first appearence in Ocean city's parade.

New Charity:
In an effort to maximize the efficiency of our fundraising efforts, we have decided to support Doctors Without Borders as our year round charity of choice when Toys For Tots if out of season.

Ecto Prom 2011
Prom season is here, and the Ecto 4 is available to turn heads as you arrive at your prom. All profits will go to Doctors Without Borders.

Doo Dah Day Parade
We will be kicking off the Spring busting season and unveiling the 2011 refresh of the Ecto-4 in the Annual Doo Dah Day Parade in Ocean City NJ at Noon on Saturday April 16th.

Philly Zombie Crawl
On Sunday April 24th we will be present to monitor a mass disturbance on South Street in Philadelphia.

Busy weekend!

In a fury of sauder, hot glue, paint, and a little accidental smoke, we managed to seriously upgrade our busting hardware this past weekend.

Some might have noticed that our custom ecto siren had been experiencing some reliability issues. No more! We managed to repair a broken ground pin on the sound microprocessor, and now it's golden!

How about the crazy erratic sounds of the V3 proton pack? Also fixed, with the purchase of a heat gun and addition of shrink tubing everywhere!

The V4 proton pack, upgraded, but that's still a secret. Come out to Zolocon and see the difference for yourself!

2010 Year in Review - By the Numbers

Taking a look back at 2010 so we can plan for 2011.

In total,
-The Ecto 4 ATAC was rebuilt and introduced
-The Ecto MCU was built and introduced
-1 New proton pack was built
-2 Original cast members signed the Ecto 4, Aykroyd and Hudson
-3 new busters joined our ranks
-7 different charities were supported
-59 events were attended
-1000 new facebook friends
-7500+ miles were traveled by the Ecto-4 to and from events
-100,000+ Hits on our new website
